SemperFit

Classes

Strength and conditioning. Coached. Scaled. You show up; we run the hour. Olympic weightlifting is a separate club — see Vektløfter.

Confirm Official class names (what is on the whiteboard / in the app) are placeholders in plain English until Jim signs off. Edit src/data/classes.ts.

Class type

Group strength & conditioning Confirm

Coached group sessions. Squat, hinge, push, pull, carry, and work. Scaled to the person in front of the coach — not a one-pace grind.

Adults who want to get stronger and stay capable. Beginners through experienced.

Class type

Conditioning / engine work Confirm

Intervals, mixed modal work, and the kind of effort that makes you useful outside the gym. Not a random hero WOD dumped on the whiteboard.

Members already in the group class mix, or anyone cleared to push the engine.

Class type

Foundations / on-ramp Confirm

Learn the positions, the language, and how we run a class before you get dropped into the regular hour. You will not be left to figure it out from the back row.

New members. Required until a coach says you are ready [CONFIRM].

Class type

Movement assessment (SFMAT) Confirm

A look at how you actually move — mobility and stability — so programming is not a guess. Listed on the current SemperFit site as free to anyone starting a fitness journey.

New athletes. Also useful if something feels off and you need a reset.

  • Official class names on the whiteboard and in the app may differ. Confirm names before printing flyers.

  • Olympic weightlifting (snatch, clean & jerk, related strength) lives on the Vektløfter page. It is not a SemperFit class flavor.

  • Youth, women, masters, and first-timers are welcome. Tell the coach who you are; we will not pretend everyone is a games athlete.
